- Sunday 1st of August 2010 09:37:01 PMEXTENSION TO ST IVES
- NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
A special committee meeting was called by Guy Jones and Keith Riley for a decision on an opportunity to aquire a strip of land from the stables ajoining the St Ives ground. This would extend the width of the ground by approx 15ft, which might not sound much but it gives us a minimum of 2 more permanent bosses and the facility to fit more bosses across the total sight for possible competition use.
The cost to the club is the price of erecting a new boundry fence and cost of materials should be offset by the money we received for the sale of surplus target bosses.
A decicion from the stable owner was required by Saturday the 31st of July, so the committee members present, David Butcher, Guy Jones , Kieth Riley and Paula Whitehead voted in favour.
The fence will be of a post and two rail type the construction should be well within the capabilities of a club with 100 plus members. Materials should be onsite by Saturday 7th August ready for volunteer work parties. More info will be posted later in the week.
