- We had a donation box on the field, which i asked Keith and Ann Shooter (White Rose) to open for me and £94 was in the box which between us we made up to £100 half of which went to Air ambulance the other half to manorlands. Thanks to all who helped us on the day, cant write more i am going to cry again.

- On 23rd May 2010 we will be hosting a longbow shoot at St Ives in memory of Barry, who sadly passed away last month.
The round will be a 'Scorton' style round.

- South Craven will be hosting the Yorkshire Clout competition this coming Sunday, the 18th April.
For those who aren't familiar with it, clout involves shooting at a flag at 180 yards (gents) and 140 yards (ladies). Scoring is 'horizontal' with arrows landing closest to the flag scoring highest.
We're holding a raffle, so any prizes anyone can donate would be welcomed.

- Our annual open Portsmouth, the Christmas Cracker, will be taking place on the 6th December this year at South Craven.
Please note that this is a change of venue, previous Christmas Crackers have been held at Oakbank. Please note also that this is a change of date from previous years - this year the CC will be on the 1st, not the 2nd saturday in December.

- Halloween Shoot October 31st - We are having a fun shoot for Halloween.
Times wil be 2pm - 6pm shooting. This will be with jelly bows, bare bows, just so that everyone can make a fool of themselves.
The order of the day will be Fancy Dress or be be prepared to do a forfeit, you have been warned.
After the shoot there will be a Bar B Q so please bring along your own food and drinks.
Please let's try to make this a well attended day and just have a good time.
